I began working in restaurants back in 2007 where I began to develop an eye for detail, a deep understanding of the hospitality industry’s pulse, and a wealth of experience in managing finances. The idea of starting my own restaurant accounting consulting business began to take shape.

I knew the behind-the-scenes of every successful restaurant was a delicate balance of numbers, budgets, and financial planning. Most restaurateurs, however, were more focused on creating delicious dishes and delightful experiences for their customers than keeping a close eye on their finances. This is where my expertise comes in.

One day, as I sat in a local spot in downtown Chicago on my lunch break, I watched the flurry of activity around me - the bartenders expertly making drinks, the servers rushing orders, the manager chatting with customers. But behind it all, I could see the hidden challenges: inventory tracking, payroll management, cost analysis. I realized that many of these passionate business owners were likely struggling with these tasks, and I could help.

I decided it was time. Drawing on the experience I had built over the years, I launched my restaurant accounting consulting business. Since starting in March 2024, I’ve found fulfillment in helping small restaurants and bars succeed. I’ve found that I have become more than just an accountant; I have become a guide, helping restaurateurs navigate the complex financial landscape of the industry.
